New Vision Organization, Inc founded in 2004, previously assisted the incarcerated men, women and youth nationwide, although now assisting first-time Offenders of ANY Offense, never previously involved with the law and incarcerated individuals whose Human/Civil Rights are being seriously violated. Prisoners are too often stereotyped, without having their voices heard and many suffering at the hands of those we were once taught to look up to. New Vision Organization, Inc seeks non-Biased, Pro Bono Attorneys, who are Leaders and not followers. Who can use discernment and not judge others based on peer pervasiveness. Lawyers are needed to supervise and oversee, paralegals and law students, working to assist indigent incarcerated clients of this Organization. There has been high rates of suicides in Massachusetts Prisons which can be prevented if the abuses, deprivations, ongoing harassment's, medical and psychological neglect ceases. Transparency and Accountability is of great importance in prevention of suicides. Description New Vision Organization, Inc was founded in 2004, in an effort to assist incarcerated men, women and youth, nationwide, although our focus now is SOLELY to advocate for FIRST-TIME OFFENDERS of ANY Offense, who were never previously involved with the law, prior to committing their first and only offense leading to a Life/LWOP sentence. Prisoners who committed their first offense prior to reaching the age of 25 years and prisoners who have thus far served TWENTY FIVE YEARS OR MORE OF THEIR SENTENCE . We seek Virtual Volunteers for Research, Legal Assistance, Community Outreach, networking and participating in meetings, events pertaining to prison reform goals and for media outreach. . We also seek Pro-bono Lawyers assistance in some areas.
